Obviously this is a post from the husband, hi, and today's topic is scale models. It's fun, kind of inexpensive (most military models run you $50, yikes!) and relaxing. I just finished a model called Rommel's Rod, a Tom Daniel design reissue from the 1960's.At any rate, I had a blast building it, tongue firmly in cheek. My Dad, an amazing automotive scale modeler, even helped by hand-carving miniature bottles which I painted and added labels to. I've attached a few photos of my projects. At any rate, I enjoy it. Ah, 55 miniature plastic pieces, all the same color, pages of instructions, hours of building. Then you have to paint it! Zen.
